say better late than never. It fits aptly in the case of the ongoing
DDA Housing Scheme 2019, which made many wait for eternity until it
finally became live on March 25 this year. It will continue till May
10, 2019. Initially, the talks were for a June 2018 launch, the plan
got delayed till December last year. After much delay, the scheme is
now on for all of you to apply and get a chance to buy a home, if
selected in the lucky draw to be conducted by the DDA officials in
the presence of independent observers on a specified date. In all

How
Much Flats Has the DDA Put on Sale?
The
DDA is going ahead of its previous housing scheme 2017, wherein it
had launched 12,000 flats, by putting as much as 18,000 flats on sale
in this year’s scheme. Of the 18,000 flats that are up for grabs,
the DDA has allocated the largest number of flats to LIG applicants
with 8,300 units. The next big allocation comes for EWS applicants
with 7,700 housing units. MIG and LIG applicants would have to
contend with 1550 and 450 housing units, respectively.

DDA flats are mostly located in Narela, Vasant Kunj, etc. You can buy
EWS flats in Narela. Approximately 6,536 housing units are available
at a price band of ₹17.14-19.36
lakhs. The remaining 960 units can be priced at ₹10.42
lakhs. LIG or 1-BHK flats are located in Vasant Kunj and Narela.
Approximately 8,164 LIG flats located in Narela can be bought at a
cost of ₹22.54
lakhs. Another 219 LIG flats would be available at ₹48-56.32
lakhs. The 579 MIG flats located in Vasant Kunj are priced at
₹66.22-85.24
lakhs. The remaining 976 MIG flats, located in Narela, are available
at ₹96.92-98.55
lakhs. The price of 152 2-BHK HIG flats, located in Vasant Kunj,
ranges from ₹93.67
lakhs-1.40 crore. The 3-BHK HIG flats are located in Vasant Kunj at a
price of ₹1.10-1.72
crore.

Housing Scheme 2019 Online Application
For
the first time, the DDA has launched a scheme that is online right
from the beginning to the end. You can apply through the DDA portal
or via the website of partner banks that include State Bank of India
(SBI), HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, YES Bank, Kotak Mahindra
Bank, Central Bank of India, Canara Bank, etc. The online application
must be supported by the submission of valid KYC documents
authenticating your identity and address. These documents can be
anything from PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport, Aadhaar Card, Driving
License, etc.
