Who
is Eligible for the Loan?
- All farmers-Individual/joint borrowers who are owner-cultivators.

Tenant farmers, oral lessees and sharecroppers, etc.

SHGs or joint liability groups of farmers including tenant farmers, sharecroppers,etc.
Features
- The short term credit limit is fixed for the first year depending upon the crops cultivated as per proposed cropping pattern & scale of finance

to apply for the loan
An
applicant may contact our nearest branches engaged in agricultural
advance or even talk to the marketing officers visiting the village.
Kisan
Credit Card Application
You
can easily apply for the card by simply visiting the nearest bank
branch of SBI. Soon after visiting the bank, you need to contact the
officials and ask for a Kisan Credit Card application form, fill it
and submit the same with relevant documents. The bank after
successful verification of the details would issue you a credit card.

Talking
about credit limit, it varies from lender to lender. However, one
thing that needs to be mentioned here is the fact that the financial
institutions would take the crop type and area on which the crop is
being cultivated into account. Not only this, the institutions also
check the income of the farmer.
