The DDA has put on sale as much as 10,300 residential flats. As per the proposed plan, the housing authority is likely to sale 448 High Income Group (HIG) flats featuring three bedrooms. The number of MIG flats, which have 2 bedrooms, count up to 579. Low Income Group (LIG) is likely to take most of the flats on sale with 8,383 units having one bedroom. Who is Eligible for DDA Housing Scheme?

Individuals meeting the below mentioned points would be eligible to apply for the DDA Housing Scheme 2019.

  • You must be an Indian citizen
  • You must be a minimum of 18 years
  • The applicant must not have any residential house in full or part, on freehold or leasehold basis in New Delhi or Delhi Cantonment either in his/her name or in the name of his/her husband, wife or minor dependent children. However, on the applicant’s share in the jointly owned plot is less than 66.9 square metres, the concerned individual can apply for the scheme
  • Individuals granted a house or flat constructed by the DDA or any other land owning agency despite the share being less than 66.9 square meters can’t apply
